How far in advance should I book?

So that we can provide an excellent customer experience, we do limit how many cakes we can take in our scheduling. Since attention to detail is important to us, planning time is of utmost importance to allow for adequate preparation for your event, as well as to ensure your date is locked in for you assurance. During busy wedding season we tend to be booked up several months in advance. Occasionally we can fit something in last minute - so it never hurts to ask.


Do you offer tastings and consultations?

Yes, generally reserved for cake bookings with us over $275, but consideration can be given for other package options as well. We host our tastings once a month where you are able to pick-up a select tasting kit. Additionally, private consultations are available, if time and scheduling permits in advance of your event date. Another option is our exclusive pre-tasting events that are scheduled at minimum twice a year, by reservation only. Though these are not as private, you will be able to discuss dates, and schedule a consultation for your individual details. There is a small fee for either option, and attendees are limited for in person scheduled tasstings. Please ask for details if you would like to hold one.


What payment methods do you accept?

As a convenience for our customers, we accept PayPal, as well as all major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover).


Do you have minimum order requirement for custom cakes?

Our minimum order for all custom cakes is $225. Pricing is determined based upon many factors, including design elements and details. Cake pricing starts at $7 per serving, cupcakes start at $2.75 each, and other treats are priced based on package/volume of order. To make it convenient for our clients, we do offer a full array of treats that can be custom designed to coordinate with your theme and desired event "Sweet Experience", and we futher offer bundle pricing for you as well. We are here to provide for your event.


Can you take walk-in appointments?

We operate based on order, shipping and booked events, predominately. We operateout of an inspectec kitchen through the Cottage Food legal statute for the state of Georgia. Due to the exclusiveness, our time is spent preparing custom desserts and treats as well as pre-orders of "Special Offering" Sales items. Though reservation appointments are required, we pride ourselves on servicing our customers. We will gladly arrange for a time to connect, and have had most success in accomodating our clients time value through the use of virtual methods -- we know your time is important! You may connect with us via email (contact form) or telephone to arrange to meet (virtually or in person), as we plan to devote proper time to every client event for an excellent customer experience.

Do you offer delivery?

 Yes, we deliver and are happy to provide you with a quote for delivery when we start to discuss your event dessert needs. In some instances, our products will require delivery for larger events in order to provide set-up of your items.

 


What are your standard shipping options?

We specialize in local servicing, but can arrange for some items to be shipped. Fees would be determined by the service provider, so each order would be determined individually. We would recommend express shipping for most items, except some are able to use standard shipping options.

Do you have a minimum order?

For our custom cakes we do have a minimum order of $225. Price will depend on how elaborate your design and the number of servings. Dinner/Dessert cakes are also available, along with treats and other options.


What is your refund policy?

All sales are considered final. Retainers, Date Reservation Fees, Rental Hold Fees are non-refundable/non-transferrable in the event of cancellation. We spend countless hours in planning and development of all orders, and take every step necessary to ensure that we add positively to your event with each order. Should you have any concerns, or issues, please come to us to discuss so we can determine if anything was less than exceptional with our service!


What is the cancellation policy?

Cancelling you order will result in the loss of 50% deposit paid. If the cancellation is made within the 3 business days before order date, the full order payment is non-refundable. To postpone to a different date, a minimum of 5 business days notice is required, you are not guaranteed to be able to book for the new date.


Terms and Agreement

  • All orders require an initial 50% payment as a retainer fee. This is non-refundable, and reserves your event date. For orders totaling more than $500, a 25% retainer will be allowed (at our full discretion). Any balance must be received per terms of the agreement schedule derived at the time of scheduling, and fees paid will be subject to the same non-refundable terms, etc.
  • All sales are final. Payments due at time of order are to reserve your event date. Any rebooking, as provided for in the agreement, requires a 15-day notification and may incur an additional cost of 15% due at time of reschedule. This is one-time limitation is subject to availability, and all additional fees must be paid at the time, and will be non-refundable.
  • The balance must be received by the due date indicated on the invoice or the contract shall be deemed null and void, and initial retainer fee will not be refunded.
  • All change requests or modifications are subject to approval, and may impact pricing, fees and additional cost(s). The date of your final payment is the final date for any changes of size, style, or flavors of the cake.  Any changes requested after this date cannot be made.
  • Delivery and setup fees are available, and will be included in the total invoice (if delivery is agreed upon). If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake/treat, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake/treats once it leaves our possession.
  • We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the product(s). Items should be considered to be heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 70 degrees (Fahrenheit) or below. You assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake/treats once delivery is complete.
  • On occasion, we will photograph our cakes, treats and/or other items, and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you. You will need to ensure the venue and guests are aware of and in approval of this as well.
  • Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold Cake Dazzle and/or representatives (including employees, contractors, etc.) completely harmless for allergic reactions or other negative or potentially negative impacts.
  • In the event of the death of the customer/client, all monies will be refunded minus the 50% retainer fee within 5-10 business days. In case of death of the owner of Ms. T's Sweet Treats, LLC, all monies will be refunded within 30 days of her or his death by the authorized representative.
  • Local delivery and set up is $65.  Outside of the 10-mile radius, we can deliver and set up for a fee of $0.75 per mile round trip.  It is your responsibility to ensure that the event location is open and available for set up at the appointed time.  Should we have to wait at the site for the event location to be opened, you will be billed for the time at a rate of $25 per 15 minutes (including return drive-time, if necessary and applicable), that must be paid before the setup of your delivery items. Should a delay ultimately result in the inability to complete/finalize any set-up or delivery, we will not be held liable nor responsible for any delay or non-delivery, etc., including delayed pick-up time beyond initially agreed.
  • in access for set-up at your event/venue, we are not responsible for insufficient time. In the rare instance that it is deemed necessary due to impeding delays, we will not be held liable if set-up is not complete timely, or in the rare case a causes a return to be necessary (and time billed for travel/additional hours, as noted above).
  • We shall not be liable for non-performance of this contract attributable to pandemics, illness, labor trouble, disputes, strikes, accidents, governmental (federal, state, municipal) regulations of, or restrictions upon travel, or transportation, non-available food, beverage, or supplies, riots, national emergencies, acts of God and other causes whether enumerated herein or not, which are beyond our reasonable control, preventing or interfering with completion of product, preventing or interfering with preparation and delivery performance.
  • Any liability deemed our responsibility is expressly limited to the final paid amount(s) of said contract(s), and no further liability shall exist.
